More about this wine from Pearson's Vineyard, Waipara Valley, New Zealand
The Waipara region of New Zealand may be one of the lesser-known regions of wine, but thanks to up-and-coming Japanese vintner Takahiro Koyama, he and few upstarts are part of a movement of winemakers putting this region on the map. It’s Koyama’s attention to detail that is his signature. And you can tell with this Pinot Noir, sourced from the Pearsons’ vineyard. It’s a Pinot Noir, but somehow all the energetically expressive Waipara Valley gravel soil gives this crimson-colored vino a rare taste of fruit, spice, and flowers all grounded by a bit of the earth.
How to drink it

This is the bottle to pop when you wanna get creative on steak night, plus, these Minute Steak Stacks with Herbed Anchovy Butter are super fun to make.
